1977 Black Panthers: 10 years after fight in SUPPORT of 'open & carry'
As governor of California, Reagan signed the Mulford Act into law in 1967. Written by Republican Assemblyman Don Mulford, the legislation was the most sweeping state edict in all the country, prohibiting the more or less free carrying of firearms in public.
Reagan freaked out in 1967 when open & carry Black Panthers came to the state house. The law was to disarm the Panthers.
This occurred the day Elvis was buried (in relation story wise, but that was one of the stories of the day.) I kept the last story because it has a young (and hot) Connie Chung

Actually, such expressions as “sock it to them” and “out of sight” were prevalent in the mid to late 19th century and can be found in the writings of Stephen Crane and Mark Twain.

In second grade our class dressed up like the presidents and each had to read a small poem about ours. Low and behold, i was assigned Eisenhower (I had lost the paper with his name and had to ask my dad who the president with the initials DDE was lol). Ever since that project, he's been my favorite president. For the dress up, I got to wear the helmet of my ancestor who was a part of the D-Day invasion on june 6, 1944 so that was extra special

What a mean thing to do just before your parent passes away. Should definitely have waited a couple more years. Her mom was tough on her and it made her tough. Extremely successful people tend to have character flaws. She has her mom's quick mind. How can one complain about their parent when they claim that they had a wonderful childhood?
